As steering group we represent the many other scientists and health care workers. Upon funding, we will introduce all our collaborators!

Maarten Soeters (coordinator) is associate professor and internist in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Amsterdam UMC. His research focuses on the postprandial state. He is medical director of the in hospital nutrition program www.zorgophetbord.nl, member of the malnutrition steering group (https://www.fightmalnutrition.eu), associate editor for Clinical Nutrition and editor in chief for Human Nutrition and Metabolism.

Hinke Kruizenga is senior dietitian-researcher at Amsterdam UMC focusing on
malnutrition, nutritional assessment and the optimal interaction of nutrition and exercise in health care.

Peter Weijs is professor of nutrition and exercise at both AmsterdamUMC and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (HvA). His research is focused on optimal nutrition strategies during disease and recovery, aimed at preservation of muscle mass and function to sustain activities of daily living.

Natal van Riel is professor Biomedical Systems Biology (Technical University Eindhoven) and specialized in metabolic networks, learning algorithms and personalised models. He develops research findings into real world applications like: 1- The Metabolic Health Index (MHI) to predict effect of bariatric surgery to resolve comorbidities associated with Metabolic Syndrome is included in the EPD of the Catharina hospital in Eindhoven and 2-
The Eindhoven Diabetes Simulator (EDeS) drives a serious game to educate patients with diabetes (SugarVita, spinoff company) and is currently being expanded with digital twinning technology.

Femke Hoevenaars is Senior Scientist at the Microbiology and Systems Biology department of TNO Healthy living. She focuses on the understanding of systemic health to improve our knowledge on the body’s homeostatic capacity/phenotypic flexibility to be able to use precision nutrition strategies for health improvement.

Barbara van der Meij is a senior researcher in Nutrition, Dietetics and Lifestyle at HAN University of Applied Sciences and a senior researcher in Dietetics at Wageningen University & Research. Her research focuses on nutrition in disease, aging, and the effectiveness of nutrition or dietetic interventions.

Marian de van der Schueren is full professor Dietetics at Wageningen University, and a professor of Nutrition, Dietetics and Lifestyle at HAN University of Applied Sciences. Her research is focused on nutrition, dietetics and lifestyle.

Annemieke Konijnendijk is postdoctoral researcher at University of Twente studying the implementation and evaluation of eHealth technology.

Lisette van Gemert-Pijnen is professor eHealth at the University of Twente focusing on implementation and evaluation of technologies. The research contributes to society via implementable, feasible and user friendly technologies and responsible artificial intelligence.

Bas Kremer is business developer at TNO and will ensure stakeholder engagement and knowledge utilization.
